5 : 1 · module 2, keyed, 6000 bearings
Module 2 · 20° · spur
A metal-ready 5 : 1: keyed shafts, planets on 6000 bearings, a flanged ring with eight M5 bolts.

A big 6 : 1 for a winch or drum: module 3, a 300 mm ring with twelve M5 bolts.
Using the CheapCADTools connector, design a 6 : 1 planetary gear set in Planetary Gear Designer: module 3 mm, 20° pressure angle, spur teeth, a 20-tooth sun, 40-tooth planets and a 100-tooth ring, three planets, a profile shift of 0.2 on the planets, face width 25 mm. The sun: a 14 mm bore with a keyway 5 mm wide and 2.3 mm deep. The carrier's output: a 25 mm bore with a keyway 8 mm wide and 3.3 mm deep. The ring: twelve M5 bolt holes. Set parts in mild steel and the Strength check's sun, planet and ring material to steel, through hardened, grade 1. Check the design, apply any Auto-fix it suggests, then export every part (the sun, a planet, the ring and the carrier) as STEP and STL and give me the download link.
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or any AI app with the CheapCADTools connector, and it designs this planetary set with you, checks it and hands you the files. How to connect your AI.
The link opens the whole set in the Planetary Gear Designer's 3D view. Change the teeth, the number of planets or stages, which member is held, the carrier, bores or hubs, then download STL, STEP or the carrier's DXF and SVG.

Two 3.2 : 1 stages with four planets each: about 10 : 1 in a short housing.
Module 2 · 25° · spur
25° teeth: a 14-tooth sun without undercut and stronger roots, 6 : 1.
