Sketch Timing Pulley Generator for Fusion 360

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Myerchin Enterprises Inc., operating as Cheap CAD Tools (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the Sketch Timing Pulley Generator add-in for Autodesk Fusion 360 (“the Add-In”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of every person who uses our software.

This policy applies solely to the Add-In. Our website (cheapcadtools.com) is governed by a separate privacy policy available at https://cheapcadtools.com/privacy-policy/.

2. Data Collected by the Add-In

2a. Personal Data

The Add-In does not collect, process, or transmit any personal information. It makes no network connections of any kind. No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party by the Add-In itself.

2b. Local Preferences File

The only data the Add-In writes to disk is a single preferences file:

• File name: .last_state.json
• Location: Inside the Add-In’s installation folder on your local computer
• Contents: Your last-used UI settings — selected belt profile, tooth count, outer diameter, bore diameter, clearance mode, backlash mode, and print compensation value
• Purpose: To restore your preferences the next time you open the Add-In
• Transmitted: Never. This file never leaves your computer.

No usage statistics, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic information is collected or transmitted by the Add-In.

3. Third-Party Services

The Add-In does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, payment processors, or external APIs. There are no third parties with whom the Add-In shares data, because no data leaves your machine.

Your download or purchase of the Add-In through the Autodesk App Store is subject to Autodesk’s own privacy policy, which is independent of this document. We have no access to any personal information Autodesk collects during that transaction.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

The .last_state.json preferences file remains on your computer for as long as the Add-In is installed. It is not backed up to any remote service.

To permanently delete all data associated with the Add-In:

1. In Fusion 360, go to Utilities → Add-ins → Scripts and Add-ins → Add-ins tab
2. Select SketchTimingPulleyGenerator and click Stop
3. Delete the Add-In folder from your Fusion 360 Add-ins directory:
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns\SketchTimingPulleyGenerator\
   • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns\SketchTimingPulleyGenerator\

Deleting this folder removes the preferences file and all locally stored data associated with the Add-In.

Because no data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no remote data to request deletion of.

5. Revoking Consent

Because the Add-In stores no personal data and makes no network connections, consent revocation consists solely of uninstalling the Add-In and deleting its folder as described in Section 4 above.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Add-In is a professional engineering tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable law (including GDPR for EEA/UK residents and the California Consumer Privacy Act for California residents). Because the Add-In collects no personal data, these rights have no practical application to the Add-In itself. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at:
